Hi Guys thank you for joining me :-)
I am starting a complete interior for my classic car in leather, there are up to 4 hide thicknesses on some of the seats, my question is which needle is best suited? the sewing machine is a Juki LU-563 with an Efka controller, I have tried standard needles but the thick leather wants to slope off!
Where is my best supplier? I need a straight stitch not a slanted one
.
Thanks,
John.

My leather friend uses only diamond point needles, but she mostly does thick holster/veg tan leather. What size needle and thread are you using? Pics are always helpful too

Hi thank you for the reply Adam I have found the needles you suggested not an easy task as I wanted size 16 but they have arrived and work very well :-)
